Democrat Candidate Tom - Fourth Time a Charm? (Probably Not..)
For the time being, we finally have an announced opponent to Senator Brownback in the Gubernatorial race (we'll touch on this subject a bit more later).
Maybe Tom Holland can break this unlucky streak and score one for all of the Democrats across Kansas named Tom. We're not betting on it, and here's why (here and here).
Tom Holland, a little-known State Senator from Baldwin City, threw his hat into the ring yesterday, hoping to carry the Democratic mantle to victory in November (good luck with that).
Over the next few days, we are going to examine more thoroughly the candidacy of Tom Holland, including a bold prediction about its longevity (or lack thereof). For today, however, we wanted to share one interesting piece of information.
In Kansas' history, there have been three Democratic Gubernatorial candidates named 'Tom' - Docking ('86), Sawyer ('98) and Wiggans ('09). All have met the same unfortunate fate - defeat.
In fact, Tom Wiggans' was so hamstrung by the 'Curse of the Tom' that he couldn't even get his campaign off the ground.

You have to be kidding right? Senator Holland is highly qualified to be our next GOV. At least he did not ruin our nation and plummet our financial system into the worst financial crises since the Great Depresssion.
Now I called Senator Holland. I want to see if he will call me. This Senator is on so many important committees, to trash his reputation merely because he chose to be a Democrat, is unwarranted.
Next thing I know, your blog will be eating your own children, if they want to want to be anything other than a GOP lemming. I am no lemming. I am party leader wanting to make our nation better, regardless of party affiliation.

Your not a party leader, your a nobody. People have to know who you are for you to be a party leader. Trashing our next Governor who is a Republican while supposedly running as a Republican is not the way to go about things. Tom please go away, or run as a Democrat, or as an Independent or something else. Stop threatening to sue the county party, and the state on trumped up BS. Stop trashing all the other candidates as people who "hate God". Stop pretending like the other candidates would waste their time debating you. Just stop.

And anonymous, what are you running for? Thanks though for your unsolicited support of my candidacy. Try your best to stay in reality. Why hide frome reality? The GOP messed up and like Moore stated, "we need a geneation of leaders."

Tatu, since you are still stuck on that darn Fantasy Island waiting for that broken Brownback Express, I decided you might need to be rescued. So, as a sign of good faith, I charted a ship to come get you off that stupid island. The ship is named the USS Minnow. The skipper is brave and tough. His deckhand is named Gillegan. He should arrive in about five days; despite some rough weather.
