KS-4: Goyle Raises 250K
StayRed has learned that Raj Goyle, the Democrats' last hope at retaining a Kansas Congressional seat in 2010, will report 4th quarter donations of 253K with 568K on hand.
On the surface, very impressive numbers from Goyle. Over the last few months, he has confirmed reports that he is a heck of a fundraiser.
That said, be on the lookout for where the money came from. Goyle has previously taken money from less-than-desirable groups and people, not to mention a ton of out of state money. Our bet is that both are true yet again with Raj's 4th quarter report.

In Raj's first state house campaign, he cleaned his incumbent opponent. He coasted through his second one, winning easily in an "R" district. He didn't have to raise much to do that.
Most of his contributions, if memory serves, came from the Indian community. Are you suggesting they are "undesireable?"
The 4th District primary will be very interesting. It's probably going to come down to a contest between an officeholder who lost the Kansans for Life endorsement to an unknown Democrat, and a guy who thinks that a 12-year-old raped by her father shouldn't have access to the "morning after" pill to prevent conception.

Good, looks like this blog will be reporting the money collected by the republican in this race that comes from our of state. Is there any way you can differentiate between Operation Rescue donations and other out of state funds? That would sure save me a lot of research time.

First heard here. I just filed my FEC report. I have a total of 5 dollars in cash to report. I took the 80,000 out of the campaign just so I could prove Steve Rose is a great big dummy.
He stated to win the 3rd, it was going to take 700k. Is that your best theory Steve? No wonder you dropped out of the congressional race. Your bulb is kind of dim.
I am going to win the primary. Just wait and see. The voters vote for the best candidate, not the most corrupt candidate.
Thomas E. Scherer, the best candidate.

Just changing my subscription. Sorry I am not at Kansas Days. I am at Florida Days. It is horrible here in Florida. Hot and sunny, partly cloudy, seventy degrees.
I miss the grey gloomy skies of a winter Kansas; not to mention snow. We don't have any here.
Gotta go. Time to go to the beach and gather some sea shells. Life is a beach (in Florida).
