Just How Much Does Nancy Boyda Cost?
Ever wonder exactly why Nancy Boyda has made some of the dumb votes she has made, despite the fact that they were so obviously out of line with the interests of her constituency? Why we certainly can't begin to explain the logic on most, we've found about $94,000 reasons why Boyda may have pulled the 'yea' lever that removed Union members' rights to a secret ballot.
According to figures released by the Alliance for Worker Freedom, Nancy Boyda has received $94,000 from organized labor during this election cycle - a staggering 38.5% of her total Campaign haul. That, folks, gives her the dubious honor of having the 3rd most Union-filled bank account in Congress.
An interesting contrast has risen in the early months of this Campaign - in crunch time, Jim Ryun and Lynn Jenkins have largely turned to donors within the State of Kansas for financial help. When a fundraising gun is put to Nancy's head, she picks up the phone and calls her buddies in organized labor. Still think she's 'in-touch' with the needs of Kansas-2?

OK, we expect you to stretch the truth, we expect you to be unethical..but we honestly will never get over this blog actually LYING and pretending you're not!
Look at Jim Ryun's records yourself- only 32% of his itemized contributions are from Kansas- only 14% of them are from the district he hopes to represent! How in the WORLD can you claim otherwise?
As to Congresswoman Boyda receiving money from pro-labor organizations: good. Having a strong voice for workers is exactly what we should all want in our members of Congress.
And, also, $94,000 our of almost $700,000 raised isn't nearly as exciting as you think it is...and, btw, Jim has taken significantly more PAC money than Boyda has. We don't know where in the world those numbers came from, but it isn't what Boyda's FEC filing shows- she hasn't even taken that much money from PACs.

It's sources, moron. They linked to it. Take issue with their numbers, fine - but it's the group that came up with the numbers, not this blog. Crying a river won't change Nancy Boyda's love-affair with labor.

*that's 'sourced'

Yes, it is sourced..and so glad you're mature enough to do the whole "call 'em names" thing...the issue is the sources is bad, and the good folk of SRK can't be bothered to actually, oh, research something before tossing it online.
This one's an active lie, and that's disappointing.
Again- there is nothing wrong with Congresswoman Boyda standing with the workers of Kansas- it says tremendous things about you that you think it's a bad thing.

Seems to me the Ad Hominem attacks provide a basis for your detractors to reduce your message to that of a raving lunatic.
Toning down the rhetoric and providing details to support your treatise would provide us something to discuss. Saying something is so does not make it so; you must prove it.
Intensely disliking an idea or philosophy of politics and use of your methods does not appeal to those of us who are persuadable. Rather it finds me more curious about the opposite of your philosophy. If they do not descend to your level of detestation, I may well desire them over your brand of politics.
I leave you with a quote from a favorite playwright of mine:
"He who establishes his argument by noise and command shows that his reason is weak." -- Jean Baptiste Poquelin Moliere

Over 90 percent of Lynn Jenkins' money comes from Kansans, 80 percent of Ryun's comes from outside (mostly DC and Texas) and 60 percent of Boyda's comes from outside (mostly union types and California)

It's good to see that there is a moron on here who posts the same crap over and over.
He or she must have run out of original thoughts.
Must be a Democrat.

Actually, 80% of Boyda's money is from Kansas. Lynn's is at 91% from kansas...and Jim's is right at 32%.
as per the FEC.

yeah I checked this out on OpenSecrets.org and these numbers aren't right. I don't know where this org got their numbers, maybe they are counting all the money she got in 04, 06, and this year I don't know but that dollar amount doesn't add up.

May we? A small response.

Hey, I thought the new plan was to no longer pursue only the selfish interests of the district (ie bookmarks). You are not saying she must slavishly bring home the fed dollars to the district no matter what are you?

Hey Pighumper,
The article is about contributions, not appropriation's spending. You may well be the crown champion of stupid!
I forwarded your post to all my friends so they could see just stupid democrats really are.

"Crown champion of stupid?" Wow, Kyle, are you actually on your high school debate team this year? I'm sure your "friends" won't pay any attention to your email; they're too busy doing their homework.

Sibielius has been told by the DNC that she has one last shot at national notice: to increase union presence and influence in Kansas. That's why the people who run the government employee unions have been brought in from out-of=state, sent here to give those organizations an appearance of significance. We will be seeing some very distorted 'union' efforts, largely by non-Kansans on loan here til the end of the year.
Don't say the people from Arkansas didn't try to warn us.

You're missing Ryun's small donors from KS. He has more than Jenkins and Boyda combined.
